In a video that went viral on Monday, minister Bisahulal Singh, who’s contesting the November 3 Meeting bypoll from Anuppur, was purportedly heard describing the second spouse of Congress candidate Vishwanath Singh Kunjam as “mistress”.
“Why Vishwanath Singh is hiding details about his first spouse and talked about his ‘Rakhail’ (mistress) within the nomination papers? He has not given details about his first spouse, however about his mistress,” he was heard as saying.
Kunjam termed Bisahulal Singh’s assertion as baseless and stated he’ll file a defamation swimsuit in opposition to him.
“I bought married 15 years again and have a 14-year-old daughter. I’ll file a defamation swimsuit in opposition to him. This exposes the BJP candidate’s character. On one hand they’re staging drama of silent quick and however they disrespect ladies,” he stated.
The BJP minister couldn’t be contacted for response.
State BJP spokesman Rajnish Agrawal stated he was unable to contact Singh as he’s campaigning in inside areas.
