Akshay Kumar-starrer Laxmmi Bomb, which is ready to launch on November 9 on OTT, has landed in controversy. Earlier #BoycottLaxmmiBomb was trending as SSR’s followers, amongst others, have been protesting towards Bollywood. Then, it was accused of selling love jihad as Akshay Kumar performs Asif and Kiara Advani performs Priya in Laxmmi Bomb. And now, the Hindu Sena has demanded change of the movie’s title. They’ve written to the Data and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar in this regard.
In an official assertion which was launched on Tuesday, the Hindu Sainiks acknowledged that movie’s title mocks the Hindu goddess. Vishnu Gupta, the president of Hindu Sena, mentioned, “I request everybody belonging to the Hindu neighborhood to boycott the film, if the title just isn’t modified earlier than the discharge. The identify of the film is very derogatory and offensive in nature; the identify of Hindu Goddess Laxmi, the goddess of fortune and wealth has been used within the film title together with the phrase bomb, which is unacceptable to the Hindu neighborhood. The phrase bomb has been used to impress the Hindu neighborhood.”
