NEW DELHI: The Information Broadcasters Affiliation on Saturday urged the federal government to right away withdraw the CBI probe into alleged manipulation of Tv Score Factors (TRP), saying the pace with which the investigation was transferred to the central company in a single day raises doubts about intentions.

In a press release, the Information Broadcasters Affiliation (NBA) expressed severe concern at “the open-ended FIR registered by the Uttar Pradesh Police towards the media for alleged TRP manipulation”.

“The pace with which the case was transferred to CBI in a single day raises doubts in regards to the intentions.
