NEW DELHI: Rajan Bargotra, Extra Director Basic (Western Seaboard), will fee Indian Coast Guard’s (ICG) ship C-452 by video conference in Ratnagiri, Maharashtra on Tuesday.
The ship was indigenously designed and constructed by Larsen & Toubro, Surat complying with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s imaginative and prescient of “Make in India” and “Atmanirbhar Bharat”.
“India Coast Guard ship C-452, indigenously designed and constructed by M/s LandT #Surat in strains with PM’s imaginative and prescient @makeinindia and #AatmaNirbharBharat, might be commissioned by video convention immediately #Ratnagiri by ADG Rajan Bargotra, CGC (WS),” ICG tweeted.
Earlier in Might, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh had commissioned Indian Coast Guard Ship (ICGS) Sachet and two interceptor boats (IBs) C-450 and C-451 in Goa.The ICGS Sachet, the primary within the sequence of 5 offshore patrol vessels (OPVs) has been designed and constructed indigenously by Goa Shipyard Restricted (GSL) and is fitted with state-of-the-art navigation and communication tools.
