A music video by Deepankuran Kaithapram, that includes actor Aparna Balamurali amongst others, underlines the pressing want to guard the Earth
Nature yearned for a heat embrace, however humanity had different plans. We stuffed land with plastic, polluted water and air, and we pretended to not see it. Now, it’s about time we took accountability, say the makers of a music video ‘It’s Me, Nature’.
Written by poet and lyricist Kaithapram Damodaran Namboodiri and set to music by Deepankuran Kaithapram, the video is a tribute to “mom earth”. That includes the 5 parts of Nature — earth, fireplace, sky, wind and water, the track urges individuals to cease and pay attention to the modifications round them. Directed by Jomit Johny and Chaitanya Menon, the video options six artistes representing every aspect together with actor Aparna Balamurali, who portrays Nature.
“The concept is to make individuals take into consideration the way in which they deal with the atmosphere,” says Jomit. Shot in Cherai and Tripunithura in Ernakulam, and at Thrissur, the video was prepared in a month. “We in Kerala had by no means borne the brunt of a pure catastrophe till the 2018 floods, when all the State was affected. Via this video, we need to remind those who it’s not too late to behave,” he provides.
Jomit and Chaithanya are each advert filmmakers, who’ve been within the business for over ten years.
Whereas Aparna talks about how people have been insensitive to Nature, Anjali Krishnadas portrays fireplace, Ardra Mohan performs sky, Revathy Rajkumar represents wind, Anjali Shigil acts as mom earth and Kalyani Jen S portrays the earth as a toddler.
