Persevering with its swoop on the leisure trade, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Saturday raided the properties of comedienne Bharati Singh and her husband Harsh Limbachiyaa, official sources mentioned.
The NCB is known to have recovered an unspecified amount of ‘ganja’ within the raids led by Deputy Director Sameer Wankhede after a drug peddler revealed their names.
Later, Bharti and Harsh have been detained and brought for investigations to the NCB places of work in south Mumbai in separate autos the place they have been being questioned.
On reaching the NCB places of work, Bharti Singh briefly informed media individuals that that they had been “known as for some questioning”.
Earlier this morning, the NCB groups landed at their premises in Andheri, Lokhandwala Complicated and Versova areas and carried out search operations.
