ACADEMIC WORK on the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Rajkot, will get underway with Union Minister for Well being and Household Welfare Dr Harsh Vardhan set to inaugurate the primary educational session for MBBS course on Monday.
A launch issued by Shramdeep Sinha, the deputy director (administration) of AIIMS, Rajkot, on Sunday said the institute is scheduled to begin its first educational session for 50 college students of the 2020-21 MBBS batch from December 21 at its short-term campus in PDU Medical Faculty, Civil Hospital, Rajkot.
The tutorial session, it said, could be inaugurated by Vardhan by way of video-conference within the presence of Chief Minister Vijay Rupani at a ceremony at Pramukhswami auditorium on Raiya Street. MoS Well being and Household Welfare Ashwini Kumar Choubey, and state Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel may even attend the ceremony. “The primary batch consists of scholars from all around the nation.
