CHICAGO (AP) — Jon “Boog” Sciambi is the brand new TV play-by-play announcer for the Chicago Cubs, changing Len Kasper.
Sciambi joins colour analyst Jim Deshaies within the sales space for Marquee Sports activities Community, which is collectively owned by the Cubs and Sinclair Broadcast Group.
Sciambi has labored at ESPN in quite a lot of roles since taking a full-time place on the community in 2010, together with TV play-by-play for Wednesday evening video games since 2014. He’ll proceed to do some work for ESPN, along with his job at Marquee.
